Preseason Cup

New team applications ended yesterday and many teams declared their interest in joining the league. Before deciding which teams to approve, the admins want to see them in action. That's why we will hold a preseason cup, featuring all the old and new teams this week. Here is the place to say that the deciding factor will not be the results, but team's organisation, seriousness and their ability to play fair. For the old teams this is an opportunity to add a tophy in their trophy cabinet and prepare for the new season, which will start next wednesday, 19.04. So here are the groups:

Group A: Rebels, Ravens-Sofia, SkyZone, Leicester

Group B: Ravens, BARATHEON, Absolutum Dominum, evoLve

Group C: Hells Angels, Masterminds, Vicious & Delicious, Arsenal

Group D: HC Yläbörsä, Starks, FEAR

The first two teams from each group qualify for the 1/4 finals. There is no default time for the matches, it's up to the captains to agree. There are deadlines though:

group phase deadline - 14.04, friday

1/4 finals deadline - 15.04, saturday

1/2 finals deadline - 16.04, sunday

Final - 17.04, monday

The matches of course can be played earlier. The league rules apply for this cup as well(2x7). The only difference is there are no wildcards and a match can not be played after the deadline. Teams can only use the players who they have listed in their topic or in the new team applications topic. In case of a draw in the knockout stage, 5 minutes overtimes are played until a goal is scored (golden goal). Results should be uploaded here.
