Official statement from the admin team!

There is a situation occurred in the match between Ravens and Evolve, in which a goal was conceded right after a pause. After a short consideration, the admins team concluded that the goal is to be counted!

A couple of reasons why. Firstly, we do acknowledge the unprofessional manner in which Ravens stopped the game without a warning first, but it is very easy to presume that the opponent team is ready - something happening not for the first time in the league. In these kind of situations, the opponent team has time to pause the game again if some of the players are not ready. There is also a threshold of 3-4 seconds before the game is in play again, so if there was indeed a problem, the captain of Evolve had time to react. However, after seeing the replay, all of the players are moving and active, raising no doubt whatsoever about the impropriety of the pause. The first signs of disapproval are shown only when a goal is conceded, which happens 5-6 seconds after the pause. Considering this amount of time, there are no sufficient reasons why the goal should be canceled.

Secondly, we assess the importance in the situation. When the opponent team is leading 5-0, this single goal did not change the entire game (As you can see in the final result). Thus, this situation seems more like an excuse of the GK of Evolve, who is too eager to have a clean sheet. Nevertheless, we advise the teams to use the match itself to claim individual results, not to challenge the legality of the match situations when there is simply no reason to.

On the other hand, the team is also very happy to see that the complaint, although substantively insufficient, is prepared and posted as it is described in the rules. If you have any further doubts, that is a good example of how to challenge an admin decision.

We were talking on TS because we didn't expect them to just unpause without asking if we were ready so we were surprised when the game started suddenly you can see that i'm not moving right away etc. Also i'm not the one who paused again right after to ask for the fairplay goal during the game, i was just going to keep playing and then i said several times "np just play". It's not a big deal anyway but it would be nice if we could get the fairplay for this goal so Cech can have a CS and if not well it's ok np)
